I´ve been frustrated about the lack of intellisense in SQL Server Management Studio, I´m using the 2008 R2 version which I later found should have this.
Looking around I found that apparently the SP 1 of Visual Studio 2010 breaks this intellisense, no wonder I never had intellisense, I never used the Management Studio without SP 1 installed.

I tried applying different kinds of cumulative updates and even reinstalling the entire SSMS R2 to no avail. In the end I downloaded the dbForge SQL Express Intellisense instead, it works like a charm!
